This ageing process adds a layer of sweetness and complexity to the cigar's rich, earthy, nutty, and spicy flavours, with hints of cocoa, oak, and leather. The blend is completed with six-year-old Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from regions like Jalapa, Condega, and Estelí.
